Entering Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro
This is a must visit on a Safari i Tanzania. Ngorongoro is a huge crater protected by the world heritage. Ngorongoro means big hole which is exactly what it is. Before entering Ngorongoro we stopped by the view point were we saw the whole crater from above.
Entering the crater we saw the most amazing nature in the whole trip. Driving down the slopes of the crater we could spot the wildlife down in the cater. The fact that the animals are “trapped” in the crater makes it the perfect place for photography and observing the wildlife. All the animals got plenty of food to eat so it’s a paradise both for vegeo animals and meat-eaters. If you are lucky you might even see lions hunting.
Lake Manyara
Located in the Manyara region, this lake has a surface area of 89 sq mi/231 km2. It’s a habitat for a large number of animals. Some of the animals that you can expect to see surrounding the lake are buffalo, giraffe, zebra, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, warthogs and lots of birds. Along the cost of the lake we saw huge amounts of flamingos.

Serengeti National Park
As seen in the Lion King (best movie ever!) the Serengeti is famous for its vast landscape that is a home to the animal kingdom. It’s the home for the Big 5. The leopards were hard to spot as they were deep into the savanna where the jeeps didn’t go but we saw one from a far distance.
You can get really close to the animals from the jeeps. Just keep as quiet as possible to not disturb the animals. They are used to the human's presence so they don’t seem to bother at all that there was cars right next to them all the time. We had lions and elephant standing and walking our jeep. It’s such an amazing experience. The monkees on the other hand are too curious. During our lunch breaks the guide had to keep watch and scare away the monkey that tried to steal our food.
